This place is great, a unique get-a-way from the ever evolving world. Some say Santa Barbara is like a bubble protected from the rest of the planet. Well, inside of the Santa Barbara bubble one can find smaller bubbles. Montecito is one of those little bubbles, and inside that bubble is the tiny little bubble called Knowlwood. The club is owned by its members and there is a cap on the number of members and the only time a spot comes up is when a family opts out of the membership. Its a pleasant place,  so clean and friendly. Painting there reminded me at times of the seventies, a quieter time. For me that was a time of innocence. There are still places in this fast world that surprise us....its not all gone, there will always be tiny bubbles.
