When group shows creep up on me like this one has I have to move quick. That wouldn't be the case if I didn't procrastinate so hard on everything I do. I was way up in the Eastern Sierras last week painting for this weeks show at The Faulkner Gallery. With days to spare I drove straight to three places I knew would work, and that is why this piece is the second of its kind for me. There was a long train of mooing cows this time so I threw them in. You are all welcome to enjoy the incredible show and reception on September 10th from 5:30-7:30pm. There are a handful of paintings in this Eastern Sierra benefit by my fellow Oak Group artists that make me look like a total beginner. I would hate to ever think that I didn't have a lot to learn. Seeing the walls of The Faulkner yesterday truly confirmed that. (The Faulkner Gallery is in Santa Barbara's main Library and the show will hang until the end of the month)
